Qu'est-ce (qui) est electron-beam engraving - définition

MEDICAL DIAGNOSTIC TECHNOLOGY
Electron Beam Tomography; EBCT; Electron-beam computed tomography; Electron beam imaging; Electron beam tomography

Electron beam prober
Electron Beam Prober
The electron beam prober (e-beam prober) is a specialized adaption of a standard scanning electron microscope (SEM) that is used for semiconductor failure analysis. While a conventional SEM may be operated in a voltage range of 10–30 keV, the e-beam Prober typically operates at 1 keV.
Electron-beam lithography
  • An example of Electron beam lithograph setup
  • '''Electron trajectories in resist:''' An incident electron (red) produces secondary electrons (blue). Sometimes, the incident electron may itself be backscattered as shown here and leave the surface of the resist (amber).
LITHOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUE THAT USES A SCANNING BEAM OF ELECTRONS
Electron lithography; E-beam lithography; Electron beam lithography; Electron-Beam Lithography
Electron-beam lithography (often abbreviated as e-beam lithography, EBL) is the practice of scanning a focused beam of electrons to draw custom shapes on a surface covered with an electron-sensitive film called a resist (exposing). The electron beam changes the solubility of the resist, enabling selective removal of either the exposed or non-exposed regions of the resist by immersing it in a solvent (developing).
Electron-beam processing
PROCESS WHICH INVOLVES USING ELECTRONS, USUALLY OF HIGH ENERGY, TO TREAT AN OBJECT FOR A VARIETY OF PURPOSES
Electron irradiation; E-beam; Electron beam processing; Radiation Crosslinking
Electron-beam processing or electron irradiation (EBI) is a process that involves using electrons, usually of high energy, to treat an object for a variety of purposes. This may take place under elevated temperatures and nitrogen atmosphere.

Electron beam computed tomography

Electron beam computed tomography (EBCT) is a specific form of computed tomography (CT) in which the X-ray tube is not mechanically spun in order to rotate the source of X-ray photons. This different design was explicitly developed to better image heart structures that never stop moving, performing a complete cycle of movement with each heartbeat.

As in conventional CT technology, the X-ray source-point moves along a circle in space around an object to be imaged. In EBT, however, the X-ray tube itself is large and stationary, and partially surrounds the imaging circle. Rather than moving the tube itself, electron-beam focal point (and hence the X-ray source point) is swept electronically along a tungsten anode in the tube, tracing a large circular arc on its inner surface. This motion can be very fast.

Electron beam CT was unable to compete with more rapid advancement in multidetector CT imager technology and had become completely obsolete by the 2020s.
